It is close to a local shop and GP, and just 250 yards from a bus stop where residents can access York and Harrogate. peacock Manor Nursing Home is a lovely purpose-built home offering residential, nursing, residential memory care, nursing memory & challenging behaviour care for those living with dementia and diverse complex health needs.
We operate a truly person centred, service user directed philosophy of care that ensures service users at peacock Manor Nursing Home have companionship, variety and spontaneity, fun, meaningful activity and purpose in their lives. It ensures that they are involved in decisions that relate to both their personal wellbeing and what happens at their home. The peacock Manor Nursing Home, a 49-person capacity nursing home’s objective is to deliver a high standard of individualised person-centred holistic care to the maximum optimum level in line with the regulations of Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and regulated activities -Health and Social Care Act 2008.
The management of the home place a strong emphasis on the highest quality service possible for all its service users. The home believes that no matter how good its present services, there is always room for improvement. The peacock Manor Nursing Home a comprehensively equipped Private Nursing Home, which is registered by the Care Quality Commission Under the Health and Social Care Act 2008.

Jaimon is a dual registered nurse who has 18 years’ experience in NHS, acute care, Care homes with diverse specialities both in clinical and management sector.
Arun has many years experience in the care industry. He is a registered general nurse with passion in person-centred care and clinical governance. To deliver the highest quality evidence-based care is his key expertise. He is also a train the trainer for clinical skills, MAPA- CPI and mandatory courses.
Liz has many years of experience in care and she is a registered mental health nurse. She is fondly loved by our Families, residents and staff. She has interests in Dementia and End of Life care.
Nobin is NVQ 4 trained and is working as team leader. He has interests in person centered care and infection control.
Paula is our head chef and she is Level 3 food and safety trained. Her passion includes spending time with our resident and creating menu plans as they wish.
Jayan is out chef who is also level 3 food and safety trained. He has many years of experience in kitchen in care homes. He make sure that our residents and given well balanced nutritional diet and fluids.
Binesh is our Maintenance and Domestic supervisor. He ensure the care home is clean and our residents room are homely.
